Effective December 1, 2014, and for the 2015 competition year, the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) has implemented withdrawal practices following Intraarticular Injections and Shockwave Therapy as a resulted of rule changes passed at the USEF Annual Meeting in January, 2014. For Intraarticular Injections a four day withdrawal time from competition has been instituted, while a three day withdrawal from competition for Shockwave Therapy has been implemented.
